Danville Community College is a two-year institution of higher
education under the state-wide Virginia Community College System.
DCC's service area includes the City of Danville, Pittsylvania County,
and Halifax County. The college, its employees, and students are
governed by the policies established by the State Board for Community
Colleges and with the support and advice of the Danville Community

their schools, the employment needs of the area, and the post-high
school educational opportunities needed for these careers.

US Senate Youth Program
The Virginia Department of
Education will select two student delegates to represent Virginia in
the United States Senate Youth Program sponsored by the William
Randolph Hearst Foundation. Each delegate will receive a
