Davenport Energy Presents ExxonMobil Grants:
Gretna Middle School, Southside Elementary School and Stony Mill Elementary School have each received a $500 grant from the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance. Davenport Energy worked with school officials to secure the grants, which were funded by the ExxonMobil Corporation.  A total of 4,000 grants were available this year across the country. Davenport Energy distributed grants totaling $4,500.00.

"All area schools work hard to make learning interesting and fun" said Bruce Gilbert, Davenport Energy Director of Operations for Customer Service/Training, "and as an Exxon Distributor we are proud to help young people in the community."

The ExxonMobil Educational Alliance Program is designed to provide Exxon and Mobil distributors and retailers an opportunity to invest in the future of their communities through educational grants to neighborhood schools.
