 Personal Interests:

When not teaching science at GHS, I greatly enjoy spending quality time with my lovely wife, Dixie(we met here at workin 2006 and married in June, 2007), my son Walter (13) anddaughter Kimberly (11). We are active members of Hurt United Methodist Church, where we are involved in lay speaking ministries and in the choir. I am also engaged as a member of the Staunton River Boys, a local mens’ Southern Gospel singing group, and enjoy traveling to area churches and nursing homes to minister the Gospel in song. Additionally, I serve as a member of Hurt Town Council.  In my spare time, I enjoy music, writing, gardening and a variety of other outdoor activities.
