dedicated to preparing the students of today to become the leaders of
tomorrow. Gretna's challenging and diverse academic programs will better
position students to reach their future goals, whether that be attending
an accredited university or becoming a productive member of the work
force. Students at GHS can also participate in a wide variety of
extracurricular and co-curricular activities. The Gretna High School
experience lasts a lifetime and has a large impact on a student's

in the nation for W!se Financial Literacy Certifications. The
predominant factor was the average score on the Financial
Literacy Certification Test with consideration given to
eligibility for free lunch and the proportion of test takers to
the school population.
Gretna High School ranks #119 out of all the nationís high schools, as
determined by the number of college-level tests taken compared to the
number of graduating seniors.
