What services are available? Counseling students Consulting with teachers Meeting with parents Test coordination Mediation Diversity appreciation Violence/Bully prevention Career planning High School course selection Working with students with special needs Child abuse/neglect referrals Suicide prevention Group presentations
When are counselors available to see students? We have an open door policy to see students. If the assigned counselor is busy, the student will be seen as soon as possible. Emergencies will be seen right away.
Where are the counselors located? Our offices are in the main office across from the principal.
How do we arrange to see a counselor? A student may ask his/her teacher for a pass to come to the office to see their designated counselor. The student will then fill out a form and the designated counselor for that student will see him/her at that time if available. If the counselor is not available, they will see that student as soon as possible. If an emergency, that student will be worked in right away.
