Guidance

The guidance department is pleased to offer a variety of services to assist the faculty, staff, and students of Dan River High!  These services include:

      · assist students in discovering special abilities and interests  

      · provide in-service training in guidance to teachers

      · provide counseling both social and personal

      · provide financial aid information

      · provide student information to colleges

      · coordinate tests (state-mandated) 

      · register and enroll new students

      · arrange for tutors

      · schedule classes

      · assist students in planning a program of study that best meets their needs
