The Chatham High School Library has a collection of approximately 10,000 volumes. The collection contains materials to support the instructional program and provide materials for research as well as for recreational reading. The reference collection contains general encyclopedias, almanacs, and dictionaries, as well as specialized reference works for use in specific subject area.

All materials in the library collection are accessible through an on-line catalog. The on-line catalog can be accessed from any of the computer terminals in the library, as well as from other stations in the school. Various search strategies can be used to locate materials.
