| ASSIGNING A GROUP OF
STUDENTS TO A TEACHER
This procedure for adding students to a teacher record can be used by elementary schools without schedules. To assign a group of students:
CREATING ATTENDANCE SHEETS (STU40) Open the Student Atom and select report STU40 from the list of reports under Student. The Class Rosters/No Schedules report produces a roster of students organized first by teacher, then by grade level for schools without schedules. Blank lines at the end of the report enable you to write in student names. Report Parameters Teacher Number - Enter the starting and ending teacher numbers to be printed on the report. If you do not make an entry, all advisors or teachers will be included on the report. Note: Grade - Select the starting and ending grades to be included on the report. If you select BLANK, all grade levels will be included on the report. Print Form - A filled checkbox will print the report using a form. If you do not make an entry, the report will not be printed in grid format. USE THIS TO CREATE BOXES FOR ABSENCES. NON-SCHOOL DAYS MARKED ON YOUR CALENDAR WILL PRINT THE "O" IN THE BOX TO INDICATE A NON-SCHOOL DAY. # Of Wks/# Of Stus - Select the number of weeks to be printed in the header of the report. Choices include No Weeks, One Week, Two Weeks, Three Weeks, and Four Weeks. If you do not make an entry, no weeks will be printed in the report header. FOUR WEEKS WILL FIT ON A LANDSCAPE REPORT. BEFORE PRINTING THE REPORT, CLICK THE SETUP BUTTON AND CHANGE IT TO LANDSCAPE. Start Date - Enter the first Monday date for which you want to print Class Rosters. If you do not make an entry, the report will be printed for the current date. (Date) PREVIEW THE REPORT IN LANDSCAPE MODE BEFORE PRINTING. |
